Greetings. My husband, Milt Lee, and I have been working together since we first met almost 28 years ago.
We share a deep curiousity and the desire to learn about the world and love translating that into creative projects. We began the Oyate series in the early nineties never dreaming the many adventures it would take us on. We figure that altogether we traveled over 110,000 miles into Indian Country. Everywhere we went we met gracious and generous people. We tried to stay off the beaten trail for the most part and were interested in presenting authentic music and stories from grassroots people. It was an amazing time and we thank all of the artists and their families who opened up their homes and invited us in. This series is for you. Life didn't end after Oyate. We have continued to produce many things including buying 10 acres of land in northern Minnesota and buidling a little straw bale home. Now, as it turns out, we are back into producing some radio. I'm still continuing to write books (my passion) and Milt loves working with audio. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to visit some of our other project sites. Keep in touch. ---Jamie Jamie's Blog, No Ordinary Life at www.jamieleeonline.com Milt's Blog at www.mrdogsblog.com Our community peace project, The Bead People International |
